DigitalBridge is an alternative asset manager investing exclusively in digital infrastructure, with around US $ 119bn under management across data centres, towers, fibre, small cells and edge. It backs operators including Vantage Data Centers, DataBank, Switch, Scala and Yondr, supplying the equity that funds land, power and construction years ahead of tenancy. SoftBank agreed in December 2025 to acquire the firm for US $ 4bn – a deal underlining how far private capital now shapes AI-era capacity.
