Digital Realty, headquartered in Austin, has committed to working with elected officials, regulators, utilities and local communities through the process.

In a letter to the Governor dated 7 August, OpenAI set out undertakings covering cost recovery, generation, water, host communities and transparency.
“ We appreciate the clarity of the standards you laid out,” writes Uday Ruddarraju, CTO of Compute at OpenAI.“ These standards largely reflect practices already embedded in how we develop and operate our projects in Texas and elsewhere.”
