This transforms individual vehicles into nodes in a distributed infrastructure. A vehicle approaching an intersection receives data from its own sensors and from other vehicles, traffic signals and roadside infrastructure. Each vehicle must process its own sensor data while ingesting, validating and incorporating data from external sources.
