This only works if the platform can ingest data from SCADA, DCIM, building management systems and third-party sensors across mixed-OEM environments, something Sudhir identifies as a persistent gap in the market today.
" One vendor is monitoring the condition of its cooling units on its own platform; the other is monitoring on its own platform," he says. " Vendor # 1 does not supply any type of health data on its cooling units to vendor # 2 or vice versa. That is something we need to evaluate when looking for a more advanced solution to get a holistic view of [ our cooling infrastructure ]."
