Having become CEO of The London Internet Exchange( LINX) at the end of 2024, Jennifer Holmes has played a critical role in growing the organisation. With her passion for interconnectivity and a strong commitment to culture, she has a powerful understanding of the needs of LINX members as they seek to power ahead in interconnectivity.

Initially joining LINX in 2007, Jennifer soon rose the ranks and says she took over at a very interesting time for the organisation.
“ We are now working out what we’ re doing with company culture,” she explains.“ My initial work as CEO was about setting that culture and a tone of accountability – which starts with me.
“ Stepping up to lead a team of people that I’ ve always looked up to and have always been above me was also a learning curve. But it works well because we are a team – we’ ve all found our places and when a decision needs making, I’ ll make a decision.”
As LINX further commits to expanding across Europe and Africa, Jennifer shares her CEO journey so far and how the organisation is pushing for digital progress.
Charting LINX’ s growth journey LINX is pushing ahead with its growth strategy, having recently announced LINX Accra, an interconnection point in LINX Africa due to go live in 2025. It will be a fully redundant, interconnected, multisite fabric to further future-proof digital
