AirTrunk operates hyperscale campuses across Asia-Pacific and the Middle East, serving cloud and AI customers that need capacity at gigawatt scale. Australian capacity alone passes 1.2GW across five campuses. Blackstone and CPP Investments acquired the business in 2024 in a deal valued at about US $ 16.1bn. Its entry into India through the Lumina CloudInfra acquisition – supported by a US $ 30bn commitment to build 5GW by 2030 – extends a platform built around low-PUE design.
