Vistra Corp is a Texas-based independent power producer whose generation fleet underpins hyperscale expansion across the ERCOT and PJM markets. Its nuclear plants – Comanche Peak, Perry, Davis-Besse and Beaver Valley – supply around 3.8GW under 20-year agreements with Meta and Amazon, including uprates funded by those contracts. A pending US $ 4.7bn deal for Cogentrix Energy, cleared by FERC in August, would add 5.5GW of dispatchable gas capacity in markets where AI load is concentrating.
