AN INDUSTRY TOO BIG FOR 100 NAMES
Welcome to Data Centre Magazine’ s Top 250 Data Centre Companies list for 2026. Last year we published 100 names. This year we are increasing that number to 250, and the expansion reflects what the sector has become. Data centres now sit at the centre of the global economy, attracting capital investment, transforming energy policies and catalysing technological innovation on an unprecedented scale. Our list’ s expansion also reflects who makes that growth possible. A campus is the work of hundreds of organisations: the utilities and independent power producers securing supply, the engineering firms designing cooling systems, the chipmakers, the fibre operators, the construction partners and the investors underwriting it all. Their contribution has become impossible to separate from the sector’ s progress, so we have made room for them here. Congratulations to everyone featured, and thank you for reading.
