Vertiv supplies the power and thermal systems that keep data centre halls running. Spun out of Emerson Network Power in 2016 and listed on the NYSE since 2020, the Columbus-based company builds uninterruptible power supplies, switchgear, busway, chillers, coolant distribution units and rack-level monitoring, supported by manufacturing and service operations across the Americas, EMEA and Asia- Pacific. Its relevance has grown as rack densities climb: Vertiv co-develops reference designs with NVIDIA, including power and cooling architectures for the GB300 NVL72 platform, and is bringing an 800VDC portfolio to market in the second half of 2026 to serve megawatt-scale racks. Demand is visible in the numbers – full-year 2025 net sales reached US $ 10.23bn, up 26 % organically, with backlog closing the year at US $ 15bn. A field service organisation approaching 5,000 engineers supports installed equipment through its operating life.
