Blackstone’ s 2021 acquisition of QTS, valued at around US $ 10bn, gave the operator capital to accelerate a hyperscale build programme across North America and Europe. It develops campuses in US markets including Ashburn, Atlanta, Dallas-Fort Worth and Richmond, alongside Dutch sites at Eemshaven and Groningen, where a € 1.4bn( US $ 1.64bn) expansion is under way. Its Service Delivery Platform gives customers visibility over power, capacity and connectivity, and long-term renewable contracts underpin new builds for cloud and AI tenants.
