At Digital Realty, Andy maintains and manages a portfolio of more than 300 data centre facilities across 25 countries, which is helping to power the world’ s digital economy as one of the leading companies in the sector. Andy’ s relationship with Digital Realty stretches back to 2004, when as a Junior Analyst at Citigroup he worked on the company’ s initial public offering, building financial models and learning the fundamentals of the data centre REIT business. In the following decade, working at Citigroup and later as MD at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, he managed over US $ 30bn of public and private capital raises, including the largest REIT IPO at the time, and more than US $ 19bn of merger and acquisition transactions. His path repeatedly crossed with Digital Realty as he served as Lead Manager on nearly every subsequent public capital raise. He formally joined Digital Realty in 2015 as CFO, ascending to President in 2021 before becoming CEO in late 2022.
