Doug’ s journey in the data centre industry began around the turn of the millennium when he helped to found RagingWire with George Macricostas. As part of the founding executive team, he helped establish RagingWire as a pioneer in colocation services, expanding from a single facility in Sacramento to campuses across multiple US markets. After serving as RagingWire’ s President for many years, he was named CEO in 2017, succeeding George as Executive Chairman. The strategic partnership with NTT Communications, which began with an 80 % equity stake in 2014 and evolved into full acquisition in 2018, provided the capital and global reach to accelerate growth dramatically. Now leading NTT Global Data Centers, Doug oversees operations spanning more than 150 data centres in more than 20 countries and regions. Prior to his data centre career, he served as vice president of sales and marketing at NEC Technologies and held senior management positions at Mars Inc.
