“ The application workload is the entire reason the data centre exists,” Ron says, arguing that starting with the workload rather than the enclosure produces infrastructure that is neither overengineered nor under-provisioned.“ The final result is a modular architecture precisely tuned to the AI workload, built exactly for what is running inside without being over- or under-provisioned.”
Ron emphasises how far this differs from earlier generations of modular product, which were built around far lower densities.“ Traditional pre-AI era modular solutions supported low-density compute of 10kW a rack or less. It was essentially a repackaging exercise of standard components. AI flipped that on its head, not just in power and cooling demands, but in the sheer pace of innovation and refresh cycle,” he says.

The payoff of the factory-built approach, in his account, is measurable in delivery time.“ Doing fabrication, assembly, testing and compliance in the factory while site work happens in parallel cuts time-to-token by up to 50 %,” he says.
