Unlike some of the hyperscalers on this list, Meta does not operate a traditional public cloud business. But that line is blurring: as of July 2026, it was reportedly in talks to lease Anthropic up to US $ 10bn of compute capacity over two years. Capital expenditure guidance for 2026 currently sits between US $ 130-145bn. Hyperion, its campus in Richland Parish, Louisiana, has grown from a 2GW plan to a 5GW design costing more than US $ 50bn. A second supercluster, Prometheus, is scheduled to come online this year, at around 1GW.
