Catalysing the“ AI Factory” era When increased power density is matched with technological innovation, data centre footprints do not necessarily need to rise with the prevalence of AI.
The reduction in current due to the rise in voltage will require much fewer copper wiring routes to boost conductor power throughput. With the bulkiness of data centres being a primary flaw in the grand scheme of the environment and social standing, the shrinking of AIsupporting power units will be a welcome change that supports the overall efficiency and profitability of current data centre footprints.
