In a region of Finland long associated with forestry and paper-milling, Pure DC is building for a different kind of industry. Its SJK01 campus in Seinäjoki has launched with a € 1.5bn( US $ 1.7bn), 110MW first phase – fully leased – with room to grow beyond 550MW pending approvals. Direct liquid cooling will support dense AI hardware, waste heat will feed local district heating and skills programmes aim to retrain the region’ s workforce for new roles.
