DATA CENTRE STRATEGY
Crusoe has rapidly emerged as one of the preeminent forces in advanced data centre infrastructure, blending scale with environmental leadership.
In 2025, the company accelerated global expansion with over 1.6GW of data centre capacity under operation and construction, with an additional 10GW in development and oversees major campuses from Texas to Iceland.
Crusoe’ s flagship project – the Abilene campus in Texas – is set to reach 1.2 GW across eight buildings and 4 million square feet by mid-2026, backed by a US $ 12bn investment and support from partners like OpenAI and Oracle.
Crusoe posted an extraordinary projected revenue leap to $ 998 million in 2025, fuelled by AI demand and hyperscale GPU deployment. Its cloud operations now outpace origins in Bitcoin mining, reflecting a pivot to compute for AI workloads. Notably, Crusoe’ s Iceland data centre leverages 100 % renewable energy for high-density GPU clusters.
CEO Chase Lochmiller puts it:“ Crusoe is working to transform the system of computing infrastructure – from the energy that powers it, to the data centres that serve it... Our mission is to align the future of computing with the future of the climate, and that drives us day in and day out”.
With cutting-edge design, sustainability at scale and high-impact partnerships, Crusoe continues to define the next era of digital infrastructure leadership.
