The EUDCA is the premier association representing the interests of European data centre operators, providers and national trade associations.
Established in 2011 under Belgian Royal Charter, EUDCA drives policy advocacy, regulatory development and industry-wide sustainability initiatives, including its leadership of the Climate Neutral Data Centre Pact.
Under the stewardship of Chair Lex Coors( Digital Realty), EUDCA engages deeply in political decision-making, technical research, and best practice dissemination for the data centre sector. It is key to Europe’ s digital transition, integrating data centres into the continent’ s critical infrastructure fabric and guiding the sector to reach climate neutrality by 2030.
The EUDCA’ s mission is to give operators influence over the future direction of regulation and standards, preparing members for legal frameworks and compliance requirements that shape Europe’ s digitised economy. It provides a collective voice to support growth and competitiveness, working in close alliance with similar bodies worldwide.
