Thanks to the increased use of GPUs , the data centre liquid cooling market is on track for substantial growth over the next ten years . This is according to a recent analysis by Future Market Insights , which expects data centre liquid cooling to rise at a “ prodigious ” CAGR of 19.4 % between 2022 and 2032 , reaching a final valuation of US $ 12.7bn .
To give you an idea of just how fast that growth is , FMI states that the 2022 market value stands at US $ 2.2bn . At the start of the pandemic in 2020 , the market halted altogether due to the effects of multiple lockdowns on data centre development projects , prompting a fall in demand for new data centre liquid cooling systems .
However , current IT infrastructure has diversified meaning that , now , operators and service providers of telecom data centres and services will have the chance to develop new technology .
