The IDC forecasts that global edge computing spend will rise from roughly US $ 261bn in 2025 to close to US $ 380bn by 2028, while Precedence Research projects the wider edge platform market climbing from about US $ 710bn in 2026 to more than US $ 6tn by 2035.
