When we hear the phrase‘ liquid cooling’, our minds logically conjure visions of cold water, right? Well, NVIDIA’ s recent thermal engineering breakthrough challenges this seemingly intuitive connection.

One of NVIDIA’ s latest generations of AI server infrastructure, the Rubin platform, can run coolant at up to 45 ° C – warmer than a typical hot tub, where the thermometer hits 38- 40 ° C. This points towards a data centre facility model that consumes close to no water at all and significantly enhances energy efficiency.
