A deployment of this nature is centred on AI inferencing, so I see it as an important step on that longer journey rather than the whole of it.

“ It supports growth, it grows our revenues and it allows us to employ more people. A 22MW inference deployment is different in kind from the 500MW training zones the plan envisaged – and I think the national conversation is beginning to reflect how much work realising that original ambition will take.
“ Our role is to keep bringing advanced AI infrastructure into the country and to ensure more of the value from that capability is created and captured here.”
