Having joined Equinix in 2010 originally as President for the Americas region , Meyers led the organisation ’ s largest P & L through a time of significant growth and strong operating performance . He then became Chief Operating Officer in 2013 , leading Global Sales , Marketing , Operations and Customer Success teams . In 2017 , he became President of Strategy , Services and Innovation before transitioning into his current position as CEO and President the following year in 2018 . Meyers was awarded dual master ’ s degrees from Northwestern University ’ s J . L Kellogg Graduate School of Management and McCormick Graduate School of Engineering . He also holds a B . S . in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado .
